I’m a self-taught programmer working as a machine learning engineer, with experience across DevOps and full-stack development.

Before I wanted to write software, I wanted to be a writer—a novelist and a poet. I still write often, and I hope this blog becomes a place to bring that creative instinct together with what I’ve learned, and continue to learn, about software engineering.

I’m especially interested in hardware-centric programming, mechanical sympathy, and low-level systems: the parts of computing where software meets the physical machine.
